Requirements

Proficient in relevant computer applications.
3-5 years of experience in a related field preferred
Bilingual preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Be able to frequently lift or move heavy objects
Be able to work in an outdoor environment with varying weather conditions
Valid driver's license with clean driving history

Responsibilities

Analyze, evaluate, and effectively plan the day-to-day operations of harvesting.
Organize, direct, and coordinate the activities of the harvest team to fulfill all orders daily.
Act as the liaison between the field employees and the office staff, including sales, logistics and accounting departments.
Learn and implement the applicable harvesting software.
Communicate with the sales team daily to determine which fields will be harvested and potential rainouts.
Understand and maintain the required harvest quality requirements for each customer and variety of turf.
Develop and maintain the harvesting schedule.
Ensure all equipment is maintained for peak operations.
Ensure that all crews have the necessary equipment to get the job done, and make sure all equipment is in the appropriate location each day.
Ability to recognize underlying causes and foresee issues and make proper adjustments accordingly.
Work with the Turf Operations Manager to coordinate, organize, and prioritize all labor activities.
Develop constructive and cooperative relationships with internal and external customers.
Manage labor expenses and monitor weekly costs and hours worked.
Mentor, train, and develop direct reports.
Utilize good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Follow all applicable safety procedures.
Represent Tater Farms in a professional and customer service-oriented manner.
Ability to operate and excel in a stressful, fast-paced environment.
