About The Position
The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide physical therapy services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice, Company procedures, Therapy Department procedures, and productivity standards under the direction of the Physical Therapist. The role involves adhering to documentation and billing procedures, demonstrating sound judgment in therapy program implementation, and assisting in the evaluation and development of treatment plans. The assistant will establish individual therapy schedules, conduct treatments, monitor resident responses, and participate in education for residents, families, and staff. Additionally, the position includes supervising aides and students, participating in discharge planning, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
