About The Position

We are seeking an individual who is looking for opportunities to gain more experience in the field of Viticulture. The ideal candidate will have a passion for knowledge and a willingness to learn, with a background in Viticulture or the Wine Industry. This is a temporary full-time, on-site internship assignment. Schedules are determined on an as-needed basis to keep up with grape processing. This may include weekend work, and overtime. We hope to start this assignment on or around May 1, 2026.

Requirements

• Ability to work for at least 8 weeks during the summer
• Ability to work various shifts including weekends and overtime
• Pursuing a degree in Viticulture/Agriculture or related field (Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor's degree)
• Candidate is required to have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and reliable means of transportation
• Excellent organizational and communication skills – oral and written
• Experience in computer applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

• Junior or Senior class standing at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Plant Science, Ag Business, Horticulture, Ag Systems Management, Bioresource engineering, Viticulture, or Enology. OR working towards a Master's degree in the school of Life Sciences, Engineering, Agricultural Sciences or Business.
• Skilled at working with individuals from diverse and varied backgrounds.
• General viticulture knowledge.
• Grape pest and disease identification.

Responsibilities

• Pest and Disease Scouting
• Assit with crop estimating
• Water Stress Monitoring
• Irrigation Uniformity Checks
• Insect Trap Monitoring
• Harvest Maturity Sampling
• Operation of ATV
• Participate in training and safety programs to enhance job performance and knowledge.
• Safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personalsafety, company property, environmental and team member’s safety.
