Harvest/Seasonal Worker
About The Position
Duties to include but are not limited to: Inspect all raw product when entering our storage buildings/processing facility removing all foreign material. Proactively communicate with all departments in professional manner. To create and lead a positive and professional atmosphere. Alternate position coverage: Harvest Operator Duties to include but are not limited to: Run various machines during our Harvest Season. Machines to include but are not limited to: the pilers, hoggers and collectors. Proactively communicate with all departments in professional manner. To create and lead a positive and professional atmosphere.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / or equivalent
Responsibilities
- To clean and sanitize all harvest equipment and storage facilities prior to receiving raw product.
- Will be required to inspect all raw product before entering the storage and raw receiving areas
- Must keep work area free of foreign material and free of all safety hazards while following our safety procedures and guidelines.
- Train new hires as needed.
- Rotate to different lines to assist with employee breaks and/or for equipment failure.
- To maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- To keep Senior Raw Coordinator informed of daily issues relating to the raw product.
- To attend and participate in meetings, training and continuing education programs internally or externally as deemed appropriate by management.
