About The Position
Western Valley Meat is hiring a Harvest Maintenance Mechanic who will join the maintenance department. Shift and schedule subject to change based on business needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills
- Works well independently and with others
- Good communication skills
- Organized with attention to details
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
Responsibilities
- Processing and completing work orders
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and compliance schematics
- Observing and testing newly installed systems
- Replacing worn seals and worn-out motors
- Records and reports damaged, worn or broken parts
- Identifies the cause of unexpected breakdowns of machines
- Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines
- Preforms other related duties as assigned
