Visitors will experience exclusive world-class Washington state wines, all crafted with care from the land, while staying in guest cottages that each share a different story about the rich history of the turn-of-the-century farmstead. The Abeja experience is created by people who are devoted to a continued pursuit of what they do best and an endless drive to do even better for wine enthusiasts and guests of The Inn. The Harvest Lab and Cellar Technician position is a fantastic opportunity to get training and experience tracking and managing ferments from alcoholic fermentation through malolactic fermentation. The usual day will include running analysis on juice, must, and wine and preparing additions for the wines throughout the early life of the wine. Additional time may be spent in the cellar assisting with a wide range of harvest activities. Harvest lunches are provided. We strive to promote a fun, safe, and inclusive work environment. This position starts late August and runs through early October but is subject to some variability depending on weather.
