Overview: Our Harvest Internship candidates will support the harvest supervisory team by assisting with the measurement, evaluation, and estimation of the citrus crop throughout the season. Their duties may include collecting and recording field data, performing fruit size and quality assessments, learning crop estimation techniques, and helping analyze grove conditions that influence yield. Over the course of the program, interns will progressively build skills in harvest operations, data interpretation, and field decision-making, gaining exposure to both hands-on and analytical aspects of citrus production. By the end of the internship, they will be equipped with a solid understanding of harvest workflows and industry best practices, preparing them for a future in production Agriculture. Here's what you'll do: Assisting farm field supervisors with daily tasks and projects. Assimilate and analyze production and farm- related data such as yield, size and quality information. Assist existing management staff in evaluating, analyzing, designing, and maintaining varying Farming department data. Create, present and distribute various farming reports. Update, revise and distribute various databases; improve structure and availability.
