Western Valley Meat is proud to be a family-owned company, committed to supporting our communities in the Valley. We produce high quality meat items that are sold at grocery stores and restaurants in both the US and around the world. We are adding team members to our Harvest General Production Departments to perform a variety of roles and tasks in the initial step of the meat processing facility. The Harvest team sets the high standard for the cleanliness and safety of the products we produce. Tasks used to accomplish our goal can include, but are not limited to the following: Position Description Using tools and equipment such as knives, scissors, saws, scales and other specialized manufacturing equipment Skinning. Trimming, Sorting, Hanging and Inspection of Carcasses and other edible offal products; etc. Loading Product into machines, packaging, and boxing, labeling and scaling of product. Work Schedule Start times range from 7am to 830am depending on specific role. Pay Rate is $17.00 for the 90 day probationary period Pay ranges from $18.85 to $23.00 depending on job awarded at time of hire.
