About The Position
Job Summary/Responsibilities: Utilizing a knife, back up kill machine, severing jugular vein with knife to slaughter, Visually monitor birds for slaughter passing at work station at approximately 46 bpm, sever veins of birds missed by machine. Other duties : as delegated by management. Requirements: Good manipulation to hold and use knife to make necessary cuts to birds missed by machine. Must reach out at work station grasp bird to make cut. Standing majority of shift. Use all required PPE Special Skills: None Communication Skills : Follow instructions Environment: Work inside facility, dust, debris, blood in kill hall, noise, moving objects, wet floor surfaces, mechanical and electrical hazards. Sanitizing solutions utilized at wash stations, foot dips
