About The Position

As part of a hardworking team, technician interns work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects in support of our business units.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Currently enrolled technical certificate associate’s program in electronics technology or similar field.
  • Available to work full time while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
  • Good understanding of basic electronic theory – voltage, resistance, current
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc)
  • Ability to follow written assembly procedures
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and desire for continuous improvement
  • Ability to thrive as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Building wire harness/cable assemblies (primary responsibility - at least 90% of daily work)
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies
  • Integrating avionics and ground support hardware into the software and hardware test beds
  • Supporting system testing
