About The Position
The Red Door syringe services program is seeking a Harm Reduction Specialist to join a small, dynamic team of individuals providing walk-in syringe exchange, naloxone distribution, wound care, and medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) services. This position is embedded within the Red Door Clinic and works closely with administrative, outreach, and clinical staff to coordinate care for program participants and clinic patients. The Red Door syringe services program practices needs-based distribution of syringes and harm reduction supplies. This position is primarily clinic-based with some potential for outreach to communities disproportionately affected by the opioid epidemic. This person will be partially responsible for collecting data and building reports for the several grants that fund this program.
