About The Position
The Harm Reduction Clinical Director of the Prevention Division is responsible for ensuring the highest quality clinical support services for individuals participating in our programs. The Harm Reduction Clinical Director provides clinical leadership, supervision and education to the direct care staff of the Division of Prevention. The Harm Reduction Clinical Director supports the implementation of specialized mental health/substance abuse/prevention and education direct care clinical services, and the coordination of clinical support services. The Victory Connector is a harm reduction, navigation, and respite center for women and transgender individuals who use drugs and/or are experiencing homelessness. The Victory Connector Team works to improve outcomes, reduce mortality and enhance overall quality of life for individuals experiencing homelessness and exploitation, who are impacted by substance use, behavioral health issues and infectious diseases by seamlessly connecting them to resources and knowledge through navigation, outreach, and education. The Boston Living Center is a drop-in day center in Boston’s Back Bay serving marginalized individuals in the community since the 80’s. The center has been helping to erase stigma and facilitate connections for its members through peer supported, congregate services, which aim to care for the whole individual, promoting stabilization and healthy connections through the lifespan.
