About The Position
The Harley-Davidson Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Harley-Davidson® motorcycles to factory standards. This role is revenue-producing and performance-driven. The technician directly impacts customer satisfaction, service profitability, and dealership reputation. Efficiency, accuracy, and pride in workmanship are mandatory.
Requirements
- Harley-Davidson technician experience preferred
- Valid motorcycle endorsement and driver’s license
- Ability to lift motorcycles and work on feet for extended periods
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Harley-Davidson motorcycles
- Accurately document all work performed on repair orders
- Complete work efficiently to maximize flat-rate productivity
- Perform services and repairs to Harley-Davidson factory standards
- Identify additional service needs and communicate them clearly to Service Advisors
- Conduct road tests and quality checks as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Use dealership tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems properly
- Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies
- Stay current with Harley-Davidson training and certifications
