The Marvell post silicon validation group designs and develops test platforms for validating multi-core Arm-based Network processors and custom ASIC’s, used in many communication infrastructure applications such as 5G base stations, hard disk drive (HDD), Fiber Channel (FC), solid‐state drive (SSD), NICs, Data Center and Cloud Computing platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 1- 3 years of related experience OR a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Good knowledge of high‑speed digital design concepts, including clocks, low speed interfaces like I2C & SPI, signal integrity fundamentals and basics of power
  • Good understanding of PCB design fundamentals, including schematic capture, component placement, routing and stack‑up definition
  • Hands‑on experience supporting board bring‑up and debug
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail in complex designs
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross‑functional and global teams

Responsibilities

  • Design high‑performance board‑level systems for compute, networking, and storage applications in collaboration with cross functional team
  • Bring up prototype boards in lab working with lab team and firmware teams
  • Debug issues reported during bring up and silicon validation and drive toward root cause and corrective action
  • Document design specifications, bring up plan and root cause analysis
