About The Position

As a Hardware Test Engineering Intern, you'll support ADT's product evaluation process by testing and analyzing hardware performance within larger ecosystems. You'll execute predefined test scripts, capture and analyze waveforms and audible sound samples, and document results that contribute directly to product quality and improvement. This hands-on role offers valuable experience in test engineering while working closely with ADT's product teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with graduation between December 2026-August 2027
• Strong understanding of electronics and hardware components
• Familiarity with basic product test engineering principles

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Wi-Fi networks and coursework in radio frequency technologies
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to schedules and accuracy
• Comfortable working daily in a lab environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests on product hardware to validate functionality and compliance with standards
• Evaluate hardware performance within ecosystem environments to ensure real-world compatibility
• Capture, catalog, and analyze waveforms and audible sound samples
• Document test results and provide insights for product improvement
