About The Position

E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are seeking a Hardware Test Engineer with strong experience in Java-based hardware test automation, SPI/I2C protocol programming, and custom board testing.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Strong Java programming for test automation.
SPI and I2C protocol programming experience.
Understanding of C/C++ firmware interactions.
Hands-on custom board testing experience.
Ability to debug hardware signals and communication issues.
Familiarity with microcontrollers such as ARM, STM32, PIC, or ESP32.
USB/UART/CAN communication experience.
Board rework and soldering skills.
Firmware experience for test mode support.
JavaFX or Swing UI experience.

Nice To Haves

Advanced knowledge of ATE and Advantest 93k
Working knowledge on DFT techniques such as SCAN/MBIST and JTAG

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based hardware test applications.
Write tools interfacing with devices over SPI and I2C.
Perform hardware validation, functional testing, and debugging.
Execute board bring-up on custom PCB designs.
Collaborate with firmware engineers to design test protocols.
Use lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and waveform analyzers.
Create documentation, test procedures, and reports.
