About The Position

Position: Hardware Test Engineer (eInfochips Inc) Job Description: What candidate will Be Doing: Design test plans and cases to validate new products and improve existing products as needed. Guide and support team in debugging, troubleshooting and failure analysis investigation. Collaborate with engineering development team on power design, voltage regulator design, system bring up and design validation & perform product validation and verification of hardware in field or lab environment. Establish remote connections over network through terminal servers and switches. Conduct data validation, statistical data analysis, and presentation of Quality metrics. Conduct DFM/DFA design data review. Setting up the appliances for testing in the Environmental chamber, EMI / EMC or Connectivity validation. Participate in the Root cause analysis on failures incurred during lab tests. Submits Test Reports and participates in Test Plan reviews. Develops and tests with guidance, set-ups, and fixtures to be able to run specific tests. Work in a team environment and manage testing deliverables to meet project deadlines for respective control What we are looking for: Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience; or equivalent work experience.
