Join the Hardware Engineering Center Tech Staff as a temporary Hardware Technology Architect. Work with the program area team to grow the portfolio of programs. Provide independent technical evaluations. Mentor engineering teams and their leaders. This position will be onsite in El Segundo, CA, with occasional travel to support reviews, customer presentations and demonstrations.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 14 years of prior relevant experience
  • Expertise in the design, implementation, integration, and calibration of hardware for low-band radar and multi-function systems.
  • Experience communicating, working with and making presentations for high-level customers.
  • Experience with the application of USG Open Architecture standards to emerging systems.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of technical strategies and assist with responses to RFI/RFPs to expand the business area
