About The Position

This role is responsible for the mechanical assembly, delivery, and technical configuration of integrated hardware systems. You will build complex units, transport them using non-CDL large trucks, and perform both mechanical and IT-level troubleshooting—ensuring that hardware components are correctly recognized by Windows and communicating over the network.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Background: 2+ years in mechanical assembly, automotive, or industrial maintenance.
  • High school diploma
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Digital Multimeters for hardware testing and CMD/PowerShell for basic network diagnostics.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to isolate whether a failure is mechanical (broken part), electrical (no power), or software (driver/IP conflict).
  • IT Literacy: Proficiency in navigating Windows 10/11, managing BIOS/UEFI settings, and basic Ethernet cabling (RJ45).
  • Driving: Valid driver’s license, clean MVR, and the ability to pass a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical & Systems Integration: Assemble hardware from blueprints using precision tools. Install and configure internal components (power supplies, sensors, I/O boards).
  • Windows & Hardware Troubleshooting: Configure Windows OS settings, install/update hardware drivers, and use Device Manager to resolve resource conflicts or unrecognized components.
  • Basic Networking: Set up and test connectivity for integrated systems. Assign Static IP addresses, configure Subnet Masks, and perform basic connectivity tests using command-line tools (e.g., ping, ipconfig).
  • Modular Component Repair: Diagnose and replace faulty sub-assemblies (sensors, motors, or PC components) on returned equipment to restore full functionality.
  • Large Vehicle Operation: Safely drive and maneuver non-CDL large trucks (up to 26,000 lbs) for equipment delivery and recovery.
  • Logistics & Heavy Loading: Secure and stage heavy hardware (50–75 lbs unassisted) using proper tie-down techniques and material handling equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
