This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence Apple Watch by combining system modeling and hands -on characterization to optimize battery life and architectural performance. As a part of this team, you will focus on modeling power consumption for unique Apple Watch features, validating these features through hands -on characterization, and leveraging advanced system modeling and data analysis to drive power optimization across Apple's ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have experience in power management modeling and system design, scripting expertise (e.g., Perl, Python, C++, Matlab), embedded programming, lab measurements, and characterization. Additionally, the role requires skills in analysis, communication, teamwork, and a passion for learning. It involves tasks such as generating battery life projections, developing tools and scripts for system modeling, conducting power validation, and collaborating cross -functionally to influence system performance decisions.
