About The Position

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or certification in a related field required.
  • Two (2) years directly related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • One (1) years recent experience in hard/software technical support.

Responsibilities

  • Install, modify, troubleshoot and repair personal computer hardware and software.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure good operating conditions.
  • Communicate with users to detect possible problems.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new equipment to be supported by the Technical Support area.
  • Maintain inventory to ensure maintenance and repair of computers.
  • Maintain up-to-date virus protection.
  • Perform regular hard drive clean up and maintenance.
  • Maintain files for software documentation.
  • Research and test new software packages.
