A strong safety mindset is essential. Occasional domestic travel (3–6 times per year) is expected to support testing at partner and field locations.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with reliability test equipment (e.g., environmental, thermal, and drop test chambers)
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in a reliability lab, test environment, or similar technical role
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple concurrent tests
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering and cross-functional teams
  • Practical, “get it done” mindset with strong ownership and follow-through

Nice To Haves

  • Experience analyzing test data (e.g., Excel, JMP)
  • Scripting for test automation or data analysis
  • Experience coordinating with external labs or testing partners
  • Experience working with CMs/ODMs and leveraging their test capabilities
  • Familiarity with reliability test standards and lab equipment vendors

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with reliability engineers to develop and execute test plans
  • Design and build electrical and mechanical test fixtures (soldering, wiring, shop tools, 3D printing)
  • Set up, monitor, and maintain multiple concurrent reliability tests
  • Collect, organize, and document test data, observations, and results
  • Diagnose product failures and support root cause investigations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-documented lab environment
  • Track test progress and proactively communicate issues, anomalies, and results

Benefits

  • Health, Dental & Vision (Gold and Platinum with some providers plans fully covered)
  • Paid parental leave
  • Alternating day off (every other Monday)
  • “Off the Grid”, a two week per year paid break for all employees.
