About The Position

Ford Motor Company seeks a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Hardware Process Specialist to join our team responsible for the reliability and environmental validation of in-house electronic modules for next-generation vehicles. This critical role will involve collaborating closely with design and test engineering teams across multiple electronic module projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our designs meet or exceed the highest reliability and quality standards, contributing significantly to the success of our future electronic architecture. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of Ford's next-generation vehicle technology. Responsibilities

  • Provide Reliability Program Lab Coordination Support, including interfacing with Project Managers weekly, coordinating current active and triage efforts across Environmental Validation Labs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, test, manufacturing) throughout the product lifecycle to ensure robust reliability and quality.
  • Support the development and execution of environmental and reliability validation processes, procedures and plans, ensuring compliance with both Ford and industry standards.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing expert guidance on reliability best practices and potential failure modes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of hardware reliability processes and methodologies.
  • Analyze reliability data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to enhance product performance and durability.
  • Document and communicate technical findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Lead and execute hardware reliability analysis, including Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
