As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. As a Hardware Operations Program Manager, you will orchestrate the lifecycle of our hardware fleet across multiple concurrent programs. You will move beyond tactical execution to build the strategic infrastructure that powers our Engineering and Product teams. You will be the central nervous system for hardware logistics, transforming how we forecast demand, manage scarcity, and distribute assets globally. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program or project management.

Nice To Haves

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in hardware logistics, supply chain, or technical program management.
  • Strong operational mindset with a focus on data integrity and process automation.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage engaging priorities across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Implement scalable intake-to-delivery workflows, moving the organization from reactive requests to predictive demand planning.
  • Serve as the primary decision-maker for inventory distribution during constrained periods, negotiating with Cross-Functional (XFN) leads to prioritizing hardware based on critical business goals.
  • Oversee the physical and digital custody of the fleet, including secure storage, international logistics, and complex recall/retrieval programs.
  • Act as the single point of contact for Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Infrastructure teams to resolve blockers and ensure optimal hardware utilization.
