About The Position

The Hardware & Infrastructure Technical Product Owner at Zivaro is responsible for leading the technical direction of the Hardware Engineering team, ensuring alignment with project objectives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical infrastructure solutions. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and deployment of hardware solutions while maintaining a long-term technical vision that considers future technology trends and capacity needs.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with servers, storage devices, networking equipment, and their technical specifications (CPU, memory, bandwidth, etc.).
  • Ability to design and understand complex system architectures, including distributed systems and high-availability configurations.
  • Previous experience as a Technical Product Owner.
  • Understanding of software development processes and ability to collaborate with development teams on integration aspects.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services and their capabilities in managing hardware and network resources.
  • Proven experience working in Agile environments, managing product backlogs, and prioritizing features within sprint cycles.
  • Ability to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for hardware and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical direction for the Hardware Engineering team, aligning with overall project objectives.
  • Work closely with the Hardware Engineering and Infrastructure teams to design, develop, and deploy new solutions.
  • Analyze technical trade-offs and make informed decisions regarding hardware selection, architecture, and scaling.
  • Monitor system health, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
  • Proactively assess future hardware needs and plan for capacity scaling.
  • Create and maintain a long-term technical vision for hardware and infrastructure, considering future technology trends and capacity needs.
  • Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams (developers, operations, security) to align on product roadmap and priorities.
  • Lead the team through Program Delivery Increment (PDI) Planning and ensure they meet technical and schedule objectives.
  • Identify risks and dependencies, write features/stories for the PDI, and brief Program Leadership and Government Customer on PDI Plan.
  • Work with Leadership to communicate any challenges, roadblocks to the team, or issues with team performance.
  • Implement high-quality solutions with extreme attention to detail in delivery and documentation.
  • Prioritize, execute, and delegate tasks in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.
  • Work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
