The Role Connectivity plays a pivotal role in using and advancing technology to offer unparalleled customer experience and develop revenue generating streams while acting as cornerstone to offer safety critical, hands-free driving solutions in line with General Motor’s strong safety culture. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Connectivity Module Hardware Engineer with a strong background in 5G, BT, Wi-Fi, BLE, UWB, and NFC technologies. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of management experience in hardware development as well as hands-on experience in hardware design, including system architecture, schematics capture, thermal analysis, and layout related to power circuitry, PCB flooring plan, RF front end, etc. to develop best in class Connectivity systems for General Motor’s vehicles. The Connectivity Module Hardware Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing a small team and leading the design, development, function/performance validation, and issue resolution, of hardware components and systems that support Connectivity technologies across all GM vehicles and architectures. This role is tightly coupled to cross-functional teams, including vehicle integration, product managers, and system engineers, to create secure and reliable Connectivity solutions and assist in defining future technology roadmaps and resolution of issues that arise throughout development and production.
