About The Position

FORVIA - HELLA is seeking its next great Project Manager to join our growing team. The primary function of this role is to take ownership of hardware design for full life cycle of next generation voltage systems. FORVIA - HELLA is a listed, internationally positioned automotive supplier operating under the umbrella brand FORVIA. Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years experience in hardware design.
  • Experience using and designing current monitoring safety devices for electronics.
  • Experience in defining safety goals and conducting DFMEA.
  • Experience with Hardware safety design in accordance with ISO26262 ASIL B requirements.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders in a diverse international environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with power electronics.

Responsibilities

  • Clarification and definition of the requirements for the product-related hardware with the customer in the form of project descriptions; analysis and planning of the hardware development effort.
  • Creating the hardware specifications; analyzing and making changes to the hardware specifications.
  • Development, elaboration and simulation of electronic circuits in consultation with the responsible authorities; creation of circuit diagrams.
  • Definition, planning, coordination and monitoring of hardware development tasks within a development project according to specified methods and systems (e.g. PEP), if necessary in consultation with the supervisor; coordination of interfaces and ensuring integration into the overall system.
  • Discuss and pursue hardware development goals with the project manager regarding quality, costs and deadlines according to existing procedures and methods.
  • Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks.
