About The Position

Meta is seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer for a temporary assignment supporting our innovative hardware projects. This role is designed for contingent workers and independent contractors, and is not a full-time employment opportunity. The Hardware Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test hardware components for Meta's next-generation products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in hardware design and development.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and hardware simulation software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic knowledge of display optical characterization & troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
• Previous experience with developing customized test stations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate hardware components and systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis of hardware issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports as required.
• Support prototype development and testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with Meta's quality and safety standards.
