The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Cloud Manufacturing Operations and Fulfillment (CMOF) organization within CSCP manages business operations performance and supplies hardware to the datacenters. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience with SKU management or Bills of Material.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies for process automation and data analysis.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in operations project/program management.
  • Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to mentor and motivate teams
  • Data Center Operations experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a vendor team responsible for creating and maintaining Microsoft Service BOMs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for SKU creation of critical Time-to-Market (TTM) New Product Introduction (NPI) SKUs.
  • Partner with upstream engineering and downstream operations teams to enable seamless execution and scalability.
  • Drive process improvements focused on data quality, cycle-time reduction, and automation.
  • Oversee team metrics and data analytics to monitor performance, data quality, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate across operations, engineering, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence cross-functional initiatives.
