About The Position

The Hardware Engineer will work on technology development projects as well as early-stage commercialization projects. Participates in electromechanical prototyping, component sourcing and integration, validation testing, and documentation. Provide engineering support, research, documentation, integration and validation for the Kubota KTI-NA department and its Research and Development initiatives. Responsible for realizing system designs into detailed designs including discrete component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout and design, simulation, library and parts creation, verification and documentation. Generates all necessary information for PCB development and production. Applications may include analog, digital, mixed-signal, programmable logic, power, video input, high speed interface, memory and display circuits. This role involves hands-on testing and evaluation of engineering prototypes, execution of validation plans, documentation of test results, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to identify, track, and resolve issues. The engineer will support compliance and certification activities by participating in test planning, recommending and specifying test configurations, and assisting in root‑cause analysis for any non‑compliance findings. Interfaces with and supports the mechanical design team for integrated enclosure, feature placement, and cable harness design. Interfaces with and supports software development team and provides operational, interface, protocol and usage information for various components.
