Designed to seamlessly integrate with existing Avionics & Flight Management Systems, allows for streamlined operations and data sharing between aircraft systems, facilitating a comprehensive approach to overall flight safety and situational awareness for pilots. Responsibilities As a Hardware Engineer I within H oneywell's Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CN&S) group, you will contribute to the development and advancement of Honeywell's Next-Generation of Aircraft Weather Radar Technologies by supporting design, testing and validating products & processes from prototype to market, with a focus on quality, roll-throughput yield, aftermarket, and production support. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make an impact on the development and delivery of cutting-edge Airborne 3D Radar Technologies, contributing to shaping the future of safety and efficiency of air travel. Collaborate with senior engineers to develop, test and validate hardware components for next-generation aircraft weather radar systems. Execute project subtasks (Designing, Testing, etc) and follow methodologies that push forward new concepts or refine existing concepts Refine engineering designs by drafting and releasing drawing changes in Team Center. Troubleshoot, debug and diagnose product performance issues. Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance Collaborate with obsolescence team in identifying and qualifying alternate part, keeping our products at the cutting edge of technology. Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to stakeholders Why Join Us? Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Relevant academic, internship, project or professional experience in hardware engineering or related fields
  • candidate must a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Electrical, Hardware Engineering or related field
  • Familiarity with a variety of hardware engineering principles, methodologies and specifications
  • Experience in Aerospace, Avionics, Radar, RF or related is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A passion for aerospace technology and commitment to continuous learning.
