About The Position

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Electrical Engineer to join a classified defense aviation program located in Owego, NY through 100% onsite presence. The Electrical Engineer support hardware development for a next-generation military helicopter, including circuit board design, trade studies, integration, testing, and production support.

Requirements

7+ years of hardware engineering experience, including hands-on work with circuit boards
5+ years of domain experience in aerospace or defense systems
Familiar with DO-254 and DO-178 standards for safety-critical hardware and software
Experience supporting hardware design, integration, and testing in production environments
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
US Citizenship required due to the classified nature of the program

Responsibilities

Design and develop hardware systems, including circuit boards
Conduct hardware trade studies and analyses to support engineering decisions
Develop and validate hardware test procedures and support integration activities
Provide engineering support to production programs, including factory follow-up
Document engineering work and artifacts in the Engineering Data SDRL
Participate in technical reviews and collaborate onsite with engineers
