About The Position

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering cloud hardware experience with primary focus on CPU and memory.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience partnering with silicon providers and ODMs.
• Experience designing and developing large scale, high-performing applications.

Responsibilities

• Drive a team to deliver best in class hardware designs from inception through manufacturing, implementation, and maturation.
• Ensure all core hardware components are meeting or exceeding the high quality bar.
• Organize and lead a team of skilled hardware development engineers to partner with silicon suppliers, ODMs, and internal customers.
• Define implementation strategies and report status frequently to senior leadership.
• Enable AWS to launch next generation server designs.
