About The Position

Imagine what you can do here. Apple is a place where extraordinary people gather to do their lives best work. Together we create products and experiences people once couldn't have imagined, and now, can't imagine living without. It's the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do. APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Work on DC/DC converters and power design. Perform functional and electrical validation of Display systems. Debug circuits using standard lab tools like oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers and E-loads. Simulate and understand power supply behavior and distribution. Work with mobile or embedded processors, ARM Socs and ASICs. Design PCBs and manufacture of PCBAs. Drive technical projects, from prototypes to mass production. Design high speed PCB schematics, guide layout engineers, and debug PCB boards. Collaborate with cross functional teams like Optics, ME, and SW to build a high-quality seamless product from end to end. Digital and high-speed circuit design. Design and develop hardware for consumer electronics products. Design high speed printed circuit board (PCB) schematics up to 1.2GHz. Review PCB layout to optimize for electromagnetic interference (EMI). Debug PCB boards and prototype consumer electronics products. Analyze large data sets with Python, MATLAB, and JMP software. Characterize electrostatic discharge (ESD) performance to design robust high quality products. Test electrical signal integrity to ensure high quality data transfer from system on chip (SOC) to display. Measure electrical signal timing to validate proper functionality of all integrated circuits (ICs). Characterize organic light emitting diode (OLED) efficiency using semiconductor device physics models. Analyze organic thin film transistor (TFT) efficiency using oscilloscopes and function generators. Work with consumer electronics component vendors.
