About The Position

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking a Hardware Design/Test Engineer (Hybrid) with technical expertise and Enterprise Information Display System (E-IDS) knowledge and experience to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Job Duties & Responsibilities - Essential Job Functions may include (but are not limited to) the following: The following duties are considered essential to the role. Develop and execute development test procedures, executing system test performance and stability test procedures, and Regression/user acceptance test procedures Developing automated tests using Selenium and/or Playwright Scripting test tools and test simulators Use test simulators such as the Simulation Driver Radar Recorder (SDRR)

Requirements

  • Practical experience doing technical work, supporting the form, fit, function of hardware.
  • Must have experience maintaining legacy FAA systems, such as IDS.
  • Be knowledgeable with applicable FAA orders, directives, and criteria while designing test procedures, system requirements and evaluations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation, and management skills, written and oral communication skills and analytical skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Bachelor's Degree in disciplines involving operating systems software, electronics communications analysis and design, digital engineering, RF engineering, test engineering, networking, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, physics or related field
