About The Position
The position involves managing the entire hardware asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal, to optimize asset utilization and reduce costs. The role requires utilizing ServiceNow HAM Pro to track and manage hardware assets, ensuring accurate and up-to-date asset records. Additionally, the candidate will develop and maintain asset management policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices. Coordination with procurement, finance, and IT teams is essential to facilitate the acquisition and deployment of hardware assets. Regular audits and reconciliations of hardware assets will be conducted to ensure data accuracy and integrity. The candidate will monitor and report on hardware asset performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and collaborate with IT support teams to manage asset-related incidents and service requests efficiently. Training and support will be provided to staff on asset management policies and the use of ServiceNow HAM Pro. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in hardware asset management is crucial for making recommendations for process improvements. The role also involves working with field support staff to coordinate physical inventory of hardware assets and perform reconciliations with the asset database to ensure accuracy and alignment.
