NVIDIA Application Engineering is a department to provide technical support to NVIDIA global customers. Our main mission is delivering NVIDIA GPU and SoC related technical information to our customers, training our customers to design NVIDIA related products, collaborate with OEM/ODM for new feature development, and supporting our customers to efficiently build NVIDIA GPU and SoC related products into the market. We are now looking for a Hardware Application Engineer in Santa Clara with the ability to work for new feature development, testing and debugging; prioritize customer software/hardware issues, resolve customer problems, and maintain good customer relations. This is a highly technical engineering support role that provides best-in-class support to NVIDIA's customers. We are looking for someone who has superb interpersonal skills to understand, explain, and problem solves for customers and engineers. What you'll be doing: Working with NVIDIA multi-functional teams for GPU and SoC feature development, testing, and debugging. Provide technical support during development, testing, and production. Perform hardware and software design reviews to ensure customer designs meet NVIDIA guidelines. Conduct the installation, configuration, debug and bring-up of customer hardware. Work directly with NVIDIA customers, and analyze data to answer questions, reproduce errors, resolve, or escalate customer issues. Be involved in customer interaction, set up and drive customer communication via conference calls, and face to face meetings. Supervise, file new bugs and reproduce issues as needed. Build design guides, application notes and other supporting technical collateral. Working with PMIC, Power sequence, battery life and regulator design.
