About The Position
Operator heat treats various forgings using Ipsen furnace.
Requirements
- Basic math and English skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to read basic measuring devices.
Responsibilities
- Operator is responsible for all material handling.
- Operator loads the furnace with parts in order to perform the hardening process.
- Operator will monitor and adjust process as necessary to insure that parts conform to print specifications.
- Keeps work area clean.
- Record all necessary information in daily heat treat logs.
- Other work as assigned by supervisor.
