Requirements

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc. with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in production related work
  • Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Previous forklift experience

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain all processing and material handling equipment for bead manufacturing
  • Monitor inventory, raw material, parts, processing materials and final product quality
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on production equipment as required
  • Conduct particle size analysis as required
  • Perform in process inspections of finished product.
  • Maintain tools in neat and orderly manner
  • Maintain bead manufacturing area in a neat and orderly status
  • Coordinate order flow
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations(including food safety policies and procedures)
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
