About The Position

The position involves providing inspection, routine maintenance, and repair to various systems and equipment at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The role is critical in ensuring the functionality and safety of essential systems that support patient care and facility operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of supply, exhaust, and return air systems.
• Maintenance of water movement systems (excluding non-potable and non-drinking water systems).
• Management of life safety systems and equipment safeties.
• Control of air volume and temperature systems, including variable frequency drives and heat transfer coils.
• Maintenance of chilled water systems and associated piping, valves, and fittings.
• Management of process water chemical treatment systems and process steam systems.
• Oversight of building automation control systems, including electronic DDC controls.
• Maintenance of medical gas bulk storage systems and production systems.
• Management of low temperature refrigeration systems and environmental control chambers.
• Responding to medical center elevator service calls and after-hours patient care television service calls.
