About The Position

The Goddard School® of Shadow Creek Ranch (Pearland), TX , is currently seeking a qualified Handyman to help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for our students and staff. Through our play-based curriculum, our affectionate and loving staff ensure that our children are imparted with the knowledge and care to succeed. Our Handyman plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and smooth daily operations of our school by maintaining our facility and transporting our children safely to and from school.

Requirements

Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) – Strongly Preferred
A High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in facility maintenance, repairs, or general handyman work
Clean driving record and ability to meet all state and company transportation requirements
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Flexibility with work schedule and willingness to assist in various areas of the school
Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs throughout the facility (painting, plumbing, lighting, minor carpentry, etc.).
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment inside and outside the school building.
Assist with general upkeep, including playground maintenance and equipment inspections.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure the facility remains in top condition.
Coordinate with management for larger repairs and vendor services when needed.
