About The Position

The Handyman position involves providing maintenance and repair services for rental properties managed by a family-owned property management company. The role requires skilled professionals to address various maintenance requests from tenants, ensuring timely and effective communication and documentation of work performed.

Requirements

  • Licensed/certified handyman with relevant experience.
  • Ability to communicate well and in a timely manner.
  • Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and other maintenance tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with landscaping and outdoor maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of pest control and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

  • Handle maintenance requests from tenants in a timely manner.
  • Perform plumbing repairs such as fixing leaky faucets and replacing toilet flush valves.
  • Address HVAC and electrical issues as they arise.
  • Take before, during, and after photos of work completed for invoicing purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with the property management team via email, phone, or text.
  • Provide service fee rates and trip charge rates if licensed/certified.
