About The Position
We are seeking a reliable Handyman / Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance needs at our facility. This role is ideal for someone with a broad hands-on skill set who enjoys fixing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of building and equipment issues.
Requirements
- Handyman-type skill set with practical experience in general maintenance
- Basic electrical experience a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders when needed
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a commercial or industrial facility
- Familiarity with HVAC, machinery, or controls (basic level)
- Prior maintenance or facilities experience
Responsibilities
- General facility maintenance and repairs (doors, fixtures, hardware, minor carpentry)
- Basic electrical work (lighting, outlets, switches, troubleshooting)
- Preventive maintenance on equipment and building systems
- Minor plumbing repairs (leaks, valves, fixtures)
- Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs when outside contractors are required
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
