Goodsmith is seeking a dependable and skilled Handyman/Carpenter to support the maintenance and care of high-end custom homes throughout the Houston area . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and consistently delivers high-quality, detail-oriented results. The ideal candidate has strong experience in residential maintenance and home repair, communicates professionally with homeowners, and maintains a high standard of workmanship while representing the company.

Requirements

5+ years of residential maintenance or handyman experience.
Skilled in general home repair and painting with strong attention to finish quality.
Professional appearance and strong communication skills, with respect for working in private residences.
Must be willing to undergo a full drug screening and FBI background check.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

Perform general home repairs including drywall patching, caulking, hardware replacement, and minor carpentry.
Complete light to moderate interior and exterior painting projects.
Conduct routine home maintenance tasks such as replacing HVAC filters, light bulbs, and smoke detector batteries.
Perform annual home care services including pressure washing, window cleaning, and seasonal maintenance projects.
Communicate professionally with homeowners and office staff to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and represent the company with professionalism and respect.
