About The Position

The position involves providing movement of packages in a safe and efficient manner. The employee will operate mechanized ramp equipment to load and unload packages and perform shuttle functions using a vehicle with a gross weight of less than 10,000 lbs. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level
• Able to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level
• Ability to maneuver packages in enclosed spaces and stack packages above one's head if required
• Able to work in all weather conditions if required
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required
• Ability to work with power and hand tools
• Able to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training
• Ability to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials
• Possess a valid driver's license
