Requirements

1 -5 years Corrugated Industry experience preferred
High School or GED or other related field or equivalent
Preferred Valid unrestricted Driver's License.
Ability to successfully obtain and maintain forklift certification.
Demonstrated proficiency in the safe operation of mobile vehicles and equipment.
Possesses a positive "can do" attitude.
Possesses a sense of urgency
Ability to be able to work back shifts and overtime when necessary.
Ability to work independently in a professional manner.
Ability to be safety orientated.

Responsibilities

Must be safety oriented and ensure safety is the number one priority.
Follows Fruit Growers Supply’s Lock out, Tag out and Try Policy and machine specific Lock out, Tag out and Try Procedures.
Works in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Performs safety inspections in manufacturing or repair settings.
Promotes, executes, and adheres to Fruit Growers Supply Company’s safety programs and encourages all employees to adopt safety as a culture.
Attends daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.
Works in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself or endanger the wellbeing of others.
Assists in various areas of the plant as needed, stepping in to support different teams or equipment based on production requirements.
Stays informed about the operation of all machine centers to provide effective support across multiple roles.
Offers support to crews during breaks, shift changes, and vacations to maintain smooth operations.
Assists crews with troubleshooting machine issues as directed by operators and supervisors.
Responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and count finished goods. The operator is accountable for the safe, efficient operation of the vehicle.
Helps configure machines for production runs by adjusting settings and facilitating changeovers
Collaborates with crews to ensure product quality through visual inspections and confirm that materials meet specifications.
Monitors machine efficiencies and speeds to ensure production levels meet or exceed standards, making necessary adjustments.
Completes production and quality reports depending on department.
Uses the Kiwi system to track, manage, and document machine waste generated during the assigned shift.
Performs preventative maintenance checks according to established procedures & schedules.
Works safely with corrugator, converting and shipping crews during major and minor down time events to ensure machine resumes production with the least amount of downtime possible.
Keeps production area free of debris; responsible for daily, weekly and monthly housekeeping duties.
Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation, as assigned by operators and supervisors.
Reports all injuries, near misses, unsafe acts and property damage.
