Core Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive evaluations of upper‑extremity injuries and conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide post‑operative care, including wound care and customized protocols. Fabricate custom orthoses/splints as needed. Document treatment progress and maintain accurate clinical records. Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and interdisciplinary colleagues. Educate patients and families on care, prevention, and home exercise programs. Requirements: Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) in good standing. Experience in hand therapy and upper‑extremity rehabilitation. CHT certification preferred (or candidate actively pursuing certification). Strong manual therapy, splinting, and clinical reasoning skills. Excellent communication and patient‑education abilities. Post‑surgical hand and wrist rehabilitation Custom splint fabrication Treatment of fractures, tendon injuries, nerve repairs, arthritis, and overuse injuries Knowledge of current evidence‑based hand therapy practices This description is intended to provide only basic guidelines for meeting job requirements. Requirements
