About The Position

The Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is responsible for evaluating patients, planning, implementing, and modifying treatment programs for the upper limb, including hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder girdle. In addition to direct patient intervention, the CHT is involved in the education of patient, family, caregivers and staff regarding the patient's functional level. The CHT may participate in student education and other related duties as required or assigned by supervisor. Requirements

• Colorado OT license or Colorado PT license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification or ability to sit for boards within one year of hire.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Hand therapy experience required; burn therapy experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
