About The Position

The Hand Center, a leading solo private surgical practice in Lubbock, Tx, is seeking a fellowship-trained orthopedic hand surgeon to join a busy private practice. This rare opportunity offers an established, thriving practice with an outstanding reputation, a large patient base, and a strong referral network. The ideal candidate specializes in hand, wrist, and elbow surgery and is committed to delivering the highest level of subspecialty care. A thriving, solo Hand Surgeon practice is seeking a new partner to join a successful and well-established private practice. The Hand Center, founded in 2000 by Dr. Garry Pollock, is the preferred hand provider for the Texas Tech Athletic Department. With Dr. Pollock planning for retirement, this is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy practice with a strong reputation and built-in referral base. Opportunities are available to participate with medical students and Orthopedic Residents through Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of Orthopedic residency and a Hand Fellowship
• Board certified/board eligible preferred
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in outpatient setting
• Diagnose, treat, and manage in hand, wrist, and elbow
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
• Practice Call Only, Hospital Call Optional
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Contribute to practice development and growth initiatives
