Hand Surgeon Independent Contractor
About The Position
Concentra is seeking a hand surgeon to work as a 1099 independent contractor at their facility. This contract role is designed to complement the surgeon's existing private practice, involving approximately a 4-hour shift on a weekly or biweekly basis. Concentra Advanced Specialists manage medically complex patients, aiming to expedite their return to work and functional restoration. The hand surgeon will collaborate with medical and therapy providers to offer both non-surgical and surgical specialist services for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work-related injuries. Responsibilities also include communicating with employers and actively participating in case management, providing care that significantly impacts patients' lives.
Requirements
- Licensure requirements of the state of practice
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hand Surgery
- Must have Medical Malpractice Insurance which will cover you while on site
